The Marriage of Parrot Girl

Red Hawk and Parrot Girl were married.   They lived happily in their pueblo, where Red Hawk would

go out each day to hunt for food, and return to on the evening.   One day while he was out hunting, he

came to a pueblo were the Parakeet Girls lived.   They invited him to dinner, and he didn't return

home for a week.   When he finally went home, Parrot Girl, who had discovered his infidelity, had

left and gone back to Mexico.   That is why parrots aren't found in the Southwest any more.
